The Sunday CafeA youth cafe for 15-25 year olds.

SC gathers every Sunday in term time between 7.30-9.30pm in Trinity Church hall. It's a place to hang around and make friends, eat rubbish, discuss things, worship God, learn about your faith, play games, talk with God, go on trips... Christianity, but real and relevant.

Have a look through the SC blog here.

Sunday Cafe also runs a housegroup on alternate Tuesday nights - please ask Keith or Anna Brindle for details.

  • Escape   ( 0 Articles )

EscapeEscape is the ‘going out to your groups’ bit for 11 to 16 year olds on a Sunday morning. The group combines teaching (eg Youth Alpha course), film (watching and making), discussion and chatting about real-life issues, lots of silliness and one-off events such as Soul Survivor and the 24hr Famine(s).

Nowadays, Escape meets in the Bridge Cafe at the end of Trinity Street.

We also do some pretty mean homemade cakes each week...

  • Trinity Crew   ( 1 Article )

Trinity Crew‘Trinity Crew’ is the name given to our work with children between the ages of birth to eleven on a Sunday morning at Holy Trinity Church during the 10:45 Service. We currently use the Scripture Union “LightLive” materials for our sessions.

Apart from the first Sunday in a month, which is communion, when we begin in our groups at the beginning of the service, then go back into church for ‘the peace’ we normally begin in church then, after a few songs, we leave for our groups.

Each session begins with the three older groups having a short time of singing, prayer and maybe a game or some warm up exercises before splitting into their own age groups for the rest of the session. This year we are also going to begin trialling going back into church at the end of some services to show the adults what we’ve done during the session, so they can find out a bit of what we’ve learned

Trinity Crew is split into the following ages:

Crèche  0-3 years in The Lookout
Group 2 3-5 years in The Lookout
Group 3 5-8 years in The Main Hall
Group 4 8-11 years in The Main Hall or Porthole
