Ann Phillips has arranged a teaching session from the Diocese on ‘Godly Play’; a well researched & widely used method of teaching children Bible stories, introducing them to Christian doctrine and the use of liturgy in interactive and easy to understand ways.
It is a quiet and reflective way of allowing the children to explore and grow in their own spiritual understanding. This evening session is open to anyone who might be interested. The venue is yet to be arranged but I hope that we will be able to meet at The Bridge.
Date: Thursday 9th September Time: 7pm to 9.30pm [which will give us time for drinks and a chat]

As some of you might be thinking about changing from Summer to Winter attire, it seems a good time to let you know that there will be a sale of good quality second hand clothes at Holy Trinity Hall on Saturday 23rd October, in aid of the refurbishment fund for the church building.
If you have anything you think might be suitable please contact either Margaret Jeffery 01373836459 or Cassie King 07796415367. Donations of coat hangers would also be appreciated. |

This has now been arranged for the afternoon of 31st August and the delegation will include the Chairman of the DAC, the Archdeacon of Wells, and our Architect.
