“Hope” is the thing with feathers –
That perches in the soul –
And sings the tune without the words –
And never stops – at all –
And sweetest – in the Gale – is heard –
And sore must be the storm –
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm –
I’ve heard it in the chillest land –
And on the strangest Sea –
Yet – never – in Extremity,
It asked a crumb – of me.
by Emily Dickinson

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
  He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

 You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    for ever. Psalm 23

Starting out again ... Hope. A wonderful living gift; beautiful & free; fragile & gentle; never lost, never overcome. Hope. “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not be in want” - from Psalm 23Jesus is the Good Shepherd. Once He carried that heavy wooden load across his shoulders to Calvary. Now He is carrying us home.We are rescued. We are safe with Him. We can trust Him. Hope. God bless you all,Lesley & Graham
