Song of Solomon 8:5 & Matthew 3:13-17

Flowers appear on the earth;
    the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
    is heard in our land. Song of Solomon 2:12

 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John.
But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”
Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.”  Then John consented.

As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.
 And a voice from heaven said,
“This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
 Matt 3: 13-17

Who is this coming up from the wilderness
    leaning on her beloved? Song of Solomon 8:5

A small white feather ...A simple, gentle reminder of the way of God who continues to lead His people through these days. He is always loving, kind, patient & gracious. This world without Jesus is a wilderness. Yet ...“Who is this coming up from the desert leaning on her lover?”- Song of Songs 8:5Could this be you? “As soon as Jesus was baptised, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.’”- Matthew‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭May you know God’s Presence & Power 😊Lesley & Graham Graham will be back with another reflection on Saturday.
