Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in. Psalm 24: 7-9
‘Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.’ Matthew 8:20
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.
For the Lord is the great God,
the great King above all gods.
In his hand are the depths of the earth,
and the mountain peaks belong to him.
The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.
Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
for he is our God
and we are the people of his pasture,
the flock under his care. Psalm 95
Opening doors! On 18th March 2020 the doors of Trinity Church were locked shut. Now, exactly 3 months later, they have been thrown open for private prayer. We have all been scattered, but we are still the church, praying & caring. God always brings us safely home. He promised He would get us through. Where is our true home? It is the place where He is. The way in? Simply say yes to His invitation. “Come, let us bow down in worship,let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care” - Psalm 95:1-7 The Lord breaks every chain & proclaims freedom for the oppressed. Come to Him. God bless you all😊Lesley & GrahamGraham’s next reflection will be on Saturday.Posted by Holy Trinity Church Frome on Thursday, 18 June 2020
