Psalm 107: 29-30

Galatians 5:22-26 referenced in Grahams talk  – fruits of the Spirit

He stilled the storm to a whisper;
    the waves of the sea  were hushed.
 They were glad when it grew calm,
    and he guided them to their desired haven. Psalm 107:29-30

We have an anchor – Lyrics

As the rain and the snow
    come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
    without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
    so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
    It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
    and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55-10-11

Ships & cargo ... a small boy & his father. May our cargo be love, joy, peace ...In Jesus we have a Captain we can trust. He knows the loss & pain of shipwreck. His wooden vessel took him down beneath the waves of death. But the love of God was stronger. He was raised .. & He invites us to sail with Him. He will keep us safe. “He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.”- from Psalm 107“Will your anchor hold in the storms of life,when the clouds unfold their wings of strife?When the strong tides lift, and the cables strain,will your anchor drift, or firm remain?”- Priscilla J.
