“…I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”  John 10:10

“…but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Isaiah 61

Negativity & criticism are all around ... We can be hard on ourselves too. But God does love us. He longs to build us up, to heal us, to encourage us. Jesus said: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”- from John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭He proclaims freedom. He demonstrates the love of God. Let the Holy Spirit speak to you as you read these words of Isaiah, words Jesus later spoke about himself: “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. - from Isaiah‬ ‭61:1-3‬ ‭God bless you 😊Lesley & Graham This is reflection number 71!Graham will take a short break & be back on Saturday.
