The Bridge is a community café run by volunteers from several churches. We aim to provide a bridge between Christians and the local community.
Simple cheap food is offered, and it provides somewhere for locals to call in for a chat. Welfare benefit advice is also provided on two mornings a week.
On Tuesdays between 11am – 1pm, “Elim Connect” run a drop-in session for the homeless and the YMCA provide advice for over 25’s at the same time.
The Bridge Cafe is located at the junction of Trinity Street and Selwood Road. As well as using Fairtrade ingredients, the café sells Traidcraft Fairtrade coffee, tea, sugar etc.
The Bridge Cafe is currently open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11am – 4pm.

Small Groups are the way we learn about God’s word together in an informal environment. They work well, because unlike Sunday morning at Church, you can shout out if you disagree and unlike reading the Bible on our own, if something doesn’t make sense, we can bounce ideas off each other.
All small groups are a little different, but if you’re not currently in a Small Group we really encourage you to join one.If you’d like to find a group, please contact the Church Office.
Prayer ministry at HTF is the foundation of all the other ministries, and is high on our list of priorities.
Proverbs 29:18 says ‘where there is no vision the people perish.’ This can be applied to churches, where there is no vision for prayer there can be no spiritual growth. At Holy Trinity our prayer ministry is varied & active.
There is the opportunity to meet for a short time of prayer before each Sunday morning service. After the service there are people in the Side Chapel available to pray for individuals. There is a prayer meeting on the first Sunday evening of the month, and a prayer chain that is well used for immediate prayer situations. There are prayer triplets meeting on a regular basis. There is also the option of days at Quiet Gardens, days of fellowship & teaching and evening prayer pilgrimages around Wells Cathedral. Recently a new ‘text a prayer’ service launched and can be used by texting your request to 07973 448 354.
Every quarter we organise longer periods of prayer focusing on different situations & needs, with interactive, visual, varied & informative prayer stations, with areas for quiet meditation & the occasional guided meditation.
